The SCREENPRO® FZ combines a 7 mm ultra-thin fixed frame with acoustically transparent projection materials for an immersive, cinema-style installation. Speakers can be positioned behind the screen so dialogue and sound effects appear to come directly from the projected image.
When configured with T8 material, the screen also provides ambient light rejecting performance for compatible normal-throw and long-throw projector systems.
FZ is designed for premium home cinemas, media rooms and professional AV installations where both image quality and speaker placement matter. Its acoustically transparent surface allows the center, left and right speakers to be concealed behind the screen, creating a cleaner room layout and a more accurately positioned soundstage.
The screen supports high-resolution 4K and 8K projection and is well suited to HDR content, Dolby Atmos systems and large-format immersive viewing.
T8 is a micro-perforated acoustic transparent ALR material developed for compatible normal-throw and long-throw projection systems. Its precision perforation structure allows sound to pass through the screen while preserving image clarity, uniform brightness and natural color reproduction.
The optical grey surface also helps reduce the effect of ambient light and improve perceived black levels and contrast compared with a conventional matte white screen.

The visible frame measures only 7 mm wide, creating a clean, nearly borderless appearance while keeping the projected image visually defined. The matte black finish absorbs stray projected light around the image edge and helps maintain a precise, professional presentation.
Its minimal profile allows the screen to integrate naturally into modern home theaters, media rooms and commercial AV spaces without the heavy appearance of a conventional wide-bezel frame.
The ultra-slim frame allows the projection surface to become the visual focus of the room. Once installed, the screen sits cleanly against the wall and creates the appearance of a dedicated cinema display rather than a conventional projection accessory.
By placing the speakers behind the acoustically transparent surface, visible audio equipment can be reduced and the front wall can maintain a symmetrical, uncluttered design.
The FZ uses a dual aluminum frame structure to improve rigidity while maintaining its ultra-thin visible bezel. A distributed tensioning system applies consistent force around the projection surface to help maintain flatness and accurate screen geometry.
The modular frame design also makes the product easier to pack and transport than a fully assembled large-format frame. Follow the included instructions carefully and confirm that the frame is square and level before completing wall installation.
The FZ frame system supports multiple SCREENPRO® projection materials for different projector types, room conditions and audio requirements. Available configurations may include T8 ALR micro-perforated material, TM micro-perforated material, TW woven acoustic transparent fabric and 3W woven anti-speckle acoustic transparent material.
For project planning, we recommend testing an A4 or A3 material sample with your actual projector, room lighting and viewing position before confirming the final screen configuration.
Each FZ screen is packed to help protect the aluminum frame, projection material and installation components during international transportation. Internal protective materials are used to separate and cushion the components, reducing movement and contact inside the carton.
For large-format or project orders, reinforced export packaging and customized wooden protection can be provided according to the screen size, shipping method and destination requirements.

If you are unsure, SCREENPRO can recommend a suitable projection screen solution based on your projector model and room layout.
A standard white screen is best for dark or controlled lighting rooms. An ALR screen is designed to reduce the influence of ambient light and improve perceived contrast in brighter environments.
The best screen for contrast depends on your projector type and room lighting. In dark rooms, a high-quality white or acoustic transparent screen can deliver natural contrast. In rooms with ambient light, ALR screen materials help maintain deeper blacks and stronger perceived contrast.
For RGB triple laser projectors, SCREENPRO recommends 3C Anti-Speckle or 3W Woven Anti-Speckle materials. These materials are designed to reduce laser speckle while preserving image contrast, color performance and viewing comfort.
Technically yes, but a dedicated UST ALR screen usually provides better image performance. UST projectors project light from a steep angle, so a normal screen may show lower contrast, uneven brightness or visible texture depending on the material.
Screen size should be selected according to viewing distance, room size, projector brightness and installation space.
For commercial, church, education or large venue applications, custom screen size recommendations may be required.
3C is suitable for many triple laser projection setups, while 3W is recommended when stronger speckle reduction and acoustic transparency are required.
Most SCREENPRO® floor-rising screens are designed as freestanding systems and do not require wall fixation for normal use. For special installations, wall brackets or additional securing methods may be recommended depending on the environment.
Temporary waves or wrinkles may be caused by transportation, temperature changes, humidity, storage conditions or installation tension. Tab-tensioned and fixed frame structures generally provide better long-term flatness than non-tensioned or folding screen systems.
Many SCREENPRO motorized projection screens support RF remote control, 12V trigger, USB trigger, RS232, Tuya Smart, Alexa and Google Assistant integration. Compatibility may vary depending on the motor and control system selected.
