SB helps absorb this rear light, reducing visible light leakage and helping the image maintain deeper blacks, cleaner shadow detail, and improved perceived contrast.

SCREENPRO: SB can improve perceived contrast by reducing light transmitted through the woven screen and minimizing reflections from objects or light-colored surfaces behind it.

The actual improvement depends on the projection material, projector brightness, room conditions, wall color, speaker placement, and the amount of reflected light behind the screen.

SCREENPRO: No. SB is a separate black acoustically transparent cloth. It is designed to allow sound to pass through and is suitable for behind-screen speaker installations.

Solid black PVC blocks light effectively but is not acoustically transparent and should not be placed between a speaker and the listening area when sound transmission is required.

SCREENPRO: SB is designed primarily for woven acoustic transparent projection materials, including selected SCREENPRO TW, TM, and 3W screen configurations.

Performance depends on projector output, screen material, backing density, installation tension, surrounding light, and reflective surfaces behind the screen.

SCREENPRO: Select SB according to the actual mounting area inside the frame rather than using only the nominal diagonal screen size.
